Ukraine's air defenses shot down more than 10 Russian drones over Kiev early Thursday in the third major attack on the Ukrainian capital in four days, the city's administration said.
"The third air attack on Kiev in the last four days! Again a massive attack! This time they are using only attack drones," Sergey Popko, the head of the Kyiv military administration, said on Telegram.
Popko added that the attack came from the occupied parts of the Ukrainian Kherson region and from the Russian Kursk region, the Ukrainian service of Radio Free Europe reported.
He said that the remains of the drones caused a fire that was extinguished by firefighters.
There were no reports of casualties.
