At least seven people were killed, including three children, and more than 30 were wounded in Russian attacks on the city of Lviv, in the west of Ukraine, according to the new official balance of attacks.
"A total of seven people died in Lviv, including three children," stated the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko on Telegram.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the new "Russian terrorist attacks", calling on the West to supply Kiev with more air defense equipment.
The city of Lviv is located more than 1.000 kilometers from the front and was relatively spared from the beginning of the Russian invasion.
However, the energy infrastructure of the region was repeatedly damaged and the city was targeted several times by drones and missiles.
Ukrainian officials announced this morning that at least five people were wounded in Russian attacks in central Ukraine.
