Russian forces captured a village near Pokrovsk, a logistics center in eastern Ukraine, and 11 people were wounded in Ukrainian attacks around the town of Gorlovk, in Russian-occupied territory.
A report by the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the village was "liberated thanks to active and decisive action".
The village is located southeast of the town of Ukrainsko, which was occupied by the Russian army at the end of September.
There are also large coal mines in this sector of the front.
In the territories occupied by Russia in eastern Ukraine, 11 people were injured on Saturday in Ukrainian artillery shelling and drone strikes on the city of Gorlovka, Mayor Ivan Prihodko announced.
