In a Russian drone attack on Kiev, a multi-story residential building was hit, which caused a fire in which one person died and five were injured, officials said.
The head of the capital's military administration, Sergej Popko, said that more than 100 residents were evacuated from a multi-story building in the Solomjanski neighborhood, west of the city center.
The air raid alert lasted for about an hour, and the anti-aircraft defense was activated. Two hours later, a new alert was declared in the city due to incoming drones.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klitschko, said that a teenage girl was killed in the attack, Reuters reports.
The fire that broke out on the 20th floor of the building is under control, emergency services said.
