The Ukrainian military claims to have shot down 76 of the 188 drones launched by Russia

The Ukrainian army announced today that it shot down 76 of the record 188 drones launched by Russia during the night, Reuters reports.

The Air Force said it had lost track of 96 drones, possibly due to active electronic warfare, and that five drones were headed for Belarus.

Agency Beta reports that residential buildings and basic infrastructure were allegedly damaged in the attacks.

"The enemy launched a record number of combat drones, as well as four Iskander-M ballistic missiles," the Ukrainian military said.

Unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type were launched, as well as other drones that have not been identified, it was stated.
