In the collision of two trams in an underground tunnel in Strasbourg, France, 68 people were injured, the final official balance of the accident was announced today.
The tram, which stopped in front of the station because of the crowd, for an unknown reason went backwards and collided with another vehicle.
In the collision, which happened yesterday, 68 people were injured and around 100 were unharmed.
The Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation to "determine the cause of the accident and indicate possible criminal liability".
Tram traffic at the station will be interrupted for several days.
According to information published last night, there were 20 injured.
