The Russian army announced today that it captured two locations on the front in eastern Ukraine, while the Ukrainian side reported that three people were wounded in drone attacks in the south of the country.
The units of the South group occupied the village of Jantarne in the Donetsk region, according to the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Jantarne is located about ten kilometers southwest of the city of Kurahova, a Ukrainian stronghold that Moscow claims it captured on Monday after weeks of fighting.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces announced that they shot down 60 Russian drones last night.
In the Kherson region, three people were wounded in attacks by Russian drones.
Fragments of downed drones damaged several houses in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions, where there were no injuries.
