Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said there is a possibility that firefighters from that country could be sent to the US to help put out large fires that have engulfed parts of Los Angeles.
"Today I told the Minister of the Interior and our diplomats to prepare for the possibility of sending Ukrainian rescuers to the USA to help put out fires in California," Zelenskiy wrote on the X social network.
He added that the situation in California is extremely difficult, and that Ukraine currently has 150 firefighters who are ready to go to the USA.
