At least four people have been killed in a Russian drone attack on Ukraine, while industrial facilities in Russia have been set on fire by Ukrainian attacks.
Russia launched 39 Shahid drones and four ballistic missiles. Ukrainian air defenses shot down two missiles and 24 drones. Drones and missiles were shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Donetsk.
Four people were killed when a downed rocket landed in the Shevchenko district, the head of the Kiev city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, said today.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said there was damage to buildings and water supply in the Shevchenko district. Klitschko said the Lukyanivska metro station was closed due to the effects of the attack.
Industrial plants in Russia's Kaluga and Tula regions are burning after Ukrainian drone attacks, officials said.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that 46 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight.
In the Kaluga region, a drone strike caused a fire in the town of Ljudinovo, governor Vladislav Shapsha wrote on Telegram. Residents said on social media that an oil depot was targeted.
There is also a fire in the Tula region, where Governor Dmitry Milyaev said a fuel tank was set on fire.
There were no casualties in any of the attacks in Russia.
