The head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, who had a worrying respiratory crisis on Friday, spent a peaceful night, the Vatican announced today.
The Pope has been in the hospital for 17 days due to inflammation of both lungs.
"The night was calm, the Pope is still resting," added the Vatican, which said last night that the clinical condition of 88-year-old Pope Francis was "stable."
