NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned today in Warsaw that anyone who would imagine attacking Poland should think twice, because NATO will respond with full force, and the reaction will be devastating.
"If anyone makes the miscalculation of thinking that they can manage to attack Poland without consequences, our alliance will respond. The reaction will be devastating. That must be clear to Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin or anyone who would like to attack us," Rutte said at a press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

The NATO Secretary General praised Poland as an ally and an example to follow for others, especially because it allocates 4,6 percent of its GDP to its defense.
"We should all follow Poland's example and increase our allocations and take steps. The US has stressed that it is determined to preserve NATO as a strong alliance, and Donald Trump has also spoken about this. Europe must increase its allocations," said Rutte.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Poland must be prepared for various scenarios, including those it does not like.
"Poland and I personally do not have to justify ourselves at all when it comes to helping Ukraine. It is clear to everyone that negotiations are underway and our influence on them is limited, all the more so that Poland must be prepared for scenarios that will not be one hundred percent as we described them," said Tusk.
The Polish Prime Minister stressed that it is extremely important for Poland to know that now that geopolitics is changing before our eyes, full NATO solidarity, faith, reliability and guarantees that Article 5 of the agreement "one for all, all for one" remain in force.
The NATO Secretary General and the Polish Prime Minister also discussed the Baltic Sea Patrol, when NATO member ships patrol the Baltic Sea to prevent attacks and sabotage on infrastructure on the seabed, and they also discussed Poland's border defense program with Russia and Belarus, "Eastern Shield", which the European Union has adopted as its own, as it defends against illegal migration and a possible military attack, and also defends the EU's external border.
