The refusal of European countries to lift sanctions imposed on Russia over its attack on Ukraine shows that "they do not want to follow the path of peace," the Kremlin said today.
"If European countries do not want to go this way, it means they do not want to go the way of peace," said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
He thus responded to a journalist's question about the decision of Ukraine's allies that it was not the time to lift sanctions on Russia.
A meeting was held in Paris yesterday dedicated to supporting Ukraine and achieving a just and lasting peace.
