Traffic on several London Underground lines was interrupted or disrupted today due to a power outage, the competent institutions of the capital of Great Britain announced.
According to the Transport for London website, at least two underground lines are out of service due to a power outage, and at least three other lines are experiencing serious delays or partial disruptions.
A spokesman for London's Transport for London told the media that there was a power outage in south London "for a few minutes", causing disruption to the Underground network.
According to the unnamed spokesman, "everything went down due to a problem with the national power grid."
British media are reporting that many underground stations in central London have been completely closed.
The scale and cause of what is happening cannot currently be assessed.
