Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today that Germany's plans to jointly develop long-range missiles with Ukraine, as well as the delivery of its tanks to Kiev, show that it is already a participant in the Russia-Ukraine war, Reuters reports.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Berlin today that his government would not impose any range restrictions on missiles that could be produced in Ukraine and Germany.
Lavrov told a reporter on Russian state television that Berlin's decisions were "building tensions," adding that he hoped "responsible politicians" in Germany would "draw the right conclusion and stop the madness."
