At least one person was killed overnight in Russian airstrikes on the Ukrainian cities of Kiev and Odessa, where a maternity hospital was also hit, local authorities said.
"The enemy attacked Odessa with a large number of drones. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, and there was a fire. The Russians hit a maternity hospital, an emergency medical station and residential buildings," said Governor Oleg Kiper, adding that the maternity hospital was evacuated in time.
He added that "residential buildings were destroyed and damaged in the center of Odessa" and confirmed the death of a 59-year-old man.
In Kiev, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said, at least one person was injured in a powerful airstrike.
