At least 14 people were injured overnight in Russian drone attacks on Kharkiv, a city in northeastern Ukraine that is the target of almost daily airstrikes.
The regional governor, Oleg Sinegubov, said three children were among the injured.
Mayor Igor Terekhov said the attacks had caused fires in residential and school buildings.
In recent days, Russia has intensified airstrikes across Ukraine.
Peace talks between Moscow and Kiev are at a standstill.
Moscow rejected the "unconditional" ceasefire demanded by Kiev and the Europeans, while Ukraine dismissed Russia's demands as "ultimatums."
