The Ukrainian military said its forces had attacked and set fire to an oil depot in Russia's southern region, used to supply Russian forces in occupied parts of Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the army's special operations units, along with missile forces and artillery, hit the Atlas factory in the Rostov region, not far from Ukraine's eastern border.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not respond to Reuters' request for comment.
Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar said yesterday that a Ukrainian drone strike the previous night had caused a fire at an "industrial enterprise" in the region's Kamenskaya district, but he did not specify which enterprise.
He wrote on Telegram that the fire had been extinguished.
