A fire that destroyed around 400 hectares of vegetation in southern France and broke out on Sunday has been contained and under control today, the local fire service said.
Around 200 firefighters are still mobilised in the town of Bizane, near Narbonne, in the south of France.
This morning, firefighters, with the support of water bombers, were extinguishing the fire, which destroyed around 400 hectares of vegetation during the night.
The highway between Toulouse and the Mediterranean Sea, which was closed on Sunday, reopened to traffic today.
About 30 people were evacuated on Sunday from a camp in Bizane, which was damaged by fire, along with 60 residents of a housing estate.
The fire broke out due to a barbecue that had not been extinguished properly, said French Interior Minister Bruno Retayo, adding that one person had been arrested.
