Russian drones attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Sunday, officials said, but there were no reports of injuries or serious damage.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the head of the military administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported a fire on the roof of a sixteen-story building.
"Kyiv was on extended air alert throughout the evening due to attacks by Russian drones," Tkachenko wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
Reuters witnesses reported that air defense units opened fire, and it was also reported that one drone was shot down.
Video on local media shows residents taking shelter in the city's metro stations in anticipation of further attacks.
