Norwegian police announced today that they seized a drone operated by a foreigner near Oslo International Airport last night.
The man, about 50 years old, was flying a drone in an area where it was not allowed, but without affecting air traffic, Lisa Marie Loke, the regional police district's chief prosecutor, told AFP.
He has not been arrested, but police will question him, she said, without specifying his nationality.
Drones disrupted air traffic at airports in Denmark this week, but Loke said "so far we don't see a connection" between the cases.
On Monday evening, air traffic at Oslo Airport was suspended for three hours due to reports of a possible drone. Loke said today that lights were seen in the air at the time and that it was still being checked whether it was indeed a drone.
