French far-right leader Marine Le Pen warned today that her National Rally party would block any new government and again suggested that President Emmanuel Macron dissolve Parliament or resign.
"I will censor everything. Stop it now. The jokes have gone on long enough," said Marine Le Pen.
She added that "greatness, honor and morality would justify Emmanuel Macron considering very seriously dissolving (Parliament) or even resigning."
French Prime Minister Sebastien Le Corneille resigned two days ago to President Emmanuel Macron, a day after he announced the composition of his new government and less than a month after being appointed to the position, plunging France into a period of political uncertainty.
Lecorni, appointed on September 9, has been the target of criticism from opponents and right-wing parties after presenting part of his government on Sunday evening, the third in a year.
After Le Corneille's resignation, it is up to the French president to decide whether to appoint a new prime minister or dissolve parliament.
