The death toll in Russian airstrikes on Kiev has risen from two to six, authorities said today after an overnight drone and missile attack.
"Four people were killed and at least three were wounded in the Svyatochinsky district (west)," said the head of the Kiev military administration, Timur Tkachenko.
Rescuers reported this morning that two people were killed and five were wounded in the bombing of a nine-story apartment building in the Dnipro district, and another person was wounded in an attack on a building in the Pechersk district.
On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defenses intercepted 249 Ukrainian drones over Russia overnight.
116 were shot down over the Black Sea, 76 in the Krasnodar Territory, 23 on the annexed Crimean Peninsula and 16 in the Rostov Region, the Russian ministry said.
