Eight people were killed and 27 were injured in a Russian attack on port infrastructure in Odessa, Ukraine's emergency services said this morning.
The port of Odessa was hit by ballistic missiles last night, said Oleg Kiper, the governor of the Odessa region in southern Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military has hit the Russian warship Okhotnik and several other facilities with drones, the Ukrainian General Staff announced.
The ship was patrolling the Caspian Sea and came close to an oil and gas production platform, while the damage assessment is still ongoing, the statement added.
The attack also hit a drilling platform at the Filanovsky oil and gas field in the Caspian Sea, operated by Lukoil.
