Swiss police have identified 16 more people who died in a New Year's Eve bar fire that killed 40 people in one of the worst disasters in the country's recent history.
Those identified now include 10 Swiss nationals, as well as two Italians, one person with Italian-Emirati citizenship, a Romanian citizen, one person from France and a Turkish citizen, Valais canton police said. Their names were not released, Reuters reports.
Police have so far identified 24 people who died in a fire in the mountain resort of Crans-Montana, in southern Switzerland.
