Two British fighter jets took off from an air base in Scotland as an urgent "rapid response" to what British media say is the approach of a Russian plane to the British coast, Sky News reported, citing unnamed sources.
The Ministry of Defense had no comment on these allegations, reports Reuters.
According to the newspaper "Daily Mail", the takeoff of the fighters is a response to the Russian plane that flew near the British coast.
