One person was killed and four were injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on an unidentified industrial facility in Rostov-on-Don, officials said today.
Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar said four people, including a four-year-old child, were injured when parts of the downed drones damaged their apartments, while rescuers found the body of a man while clearing the rubble, Reuters reported.
The Russian Defense Ministry said its air defenses destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones over the Rostov region overnight and 23 over other Russian regions and the Crimean peninsula.
Rostov-on-Don is an important Russian transport and logistics hub near Ukraine and is a strategic center for that country's military operations.
