Erdogan: Israel is the country with the most Zionism, fascism and racism, the spirit of Hitler flourishes in some

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today called Israel the country with the most fascism and racism in the world after last Sunday the Israeli parliament (Knesset) approved a law defining Israel as the "national state of the Jewish people".

"That measure showed without any doubt that Israel is the country with the most Zionism, fascism and racism in the world. "The spirit of Hitler, who led the world into a great catastrophe, is flourishing again in some Israeli officials," Erdogan said, adding that he called on the Muslim world, the Christian community, all states, authorities, democratic journalists and activists to take action against Israel in a speech before a group of parliamentarians in Ankara while the parliamentarians chanted "Damn Israel".

Last Sunday, Israel adopted a text declaring Israel "the nation-state of the Jewish people in which its natural, cultural, religious and historical rights are exercised."

The Turkish government has already criticized the law, saying that Israel wants to establish an "apartheid state".
