At least one person was killed and 23 were wounded in Russian attacks on targets in Ukraine overnight, Ukrainian officials said.
One person was killed and four were wounded in a Russian drone attack on the capital Kiev, said the head of the Kiev Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko.
In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, 19 people were wounded in a drone attack, said Mayor Igor Terekhov.
Russia carried out the attacks while peace talks in Abu Dhabi are expected to resume.
The United Arab Emirates' Foreign Ministry said the talks were part of efforts "to promote dialogue and find political solutions to the crisis."
The White House described yesterday's first day of negotiations as productive.
