A police officer was killed and 24 people were injured in explosive device detonations in Lviv, western Ukraine, police said today.
"It has been preliminarily determined that the explosive devices were homemade," police said on Telegram, according to Reuters.
Police said the first explosion occurred when the patrol arrived at a store where a burglary had occurred, and the second one occurred a little later.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy called the incident a terrorist act.
