Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack in Lviv as terrorist this evening and added that several people had been arrested.
Explosions rocked Lviv, a large city in western Ukraine, overnight. The attack, which occurred before an airstrike alert was issued, killed a female police officer and injured 25 people.
Zelensky accused Russia of "organizing" the attack by "recruiting" the perpetrators on social media.
"There were two explosions, the second when emergency services arrived at the scene," Zelensky said on social media.
