The United States "should stand with a democratic country that is fighting against one person," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, alluding to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We can't just give him (Putin) everything he wants. Because he wants to occupy us. If we give him everything he wants, we will lose everything - we will all have to flee or become Russians," Zelensky said last night in an interview with the American television network CNN.
When asked whether US President Donald Trump was putting enough pressure on Putin to try to end the war, Zelensky answered briefly - no.
Today marks four years since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
