Ukraine is now working very precisely with the United States on documents on security guarantees, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said tonight, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
"If Russia is ready to stop targeting our energy sector, we will be ready to do the same. And this proposal of ours, which was conveyed by the Americans, was conveyed to the Russian side," Zelensky said.
He added that security guarantees are crucial for a true end to the war and lasting peace.
"It is important that our partners listen to us on this issue and that we continue to make productive progress in negotiations," Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine is in contact with the United States almost daily at various levels.
