Kherson: At least two people killed in Russian drone attack on bus

At least two people were killed in a Russian drone attack on a bus in Kherson this morning.

According to the Kherson City Military Administration and the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a utility company worker and a woman whose identity has not yet been confirmed were killed at the scene.

Seven other passengers on the bus were injured, six men and one woman. Four of them are utility workers. All of the injured are currently in hospital. According to initial reports, they were diagnosed with injuries from the explosion, Ukrainian Justice reported this morning.

Russia attacked Ukraine with 163 drones on the night of May 1-2. About 100 of the drones were of the "Shahed" type, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Air defense forces destroyed or disrupted 142 drones.

Hits by 17 unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded at 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at two locations.

According to this morning's information, the attack is still ongoing.

On the night of May 1-2, Russian forces also hit a 12-story apartment building in Kharkiv, causing injuries.
