Peter Magyar was sworn in before the Hungarian Parliament today and assumed the office of Prime Minister.
His center-right Tisa party defeated Orban's nationalist-populist Fidesz in a landslide last month, winning more votes and seats in parliament than any other party in post-communist Hungary.
Hungarian, a 45-year-old lawyer who founded the Tisa 2024 party, entered the parliament building with 140 of its representatives.
