Hungarian: We will investigate the procurement of respirators during the pandemic and reconsider investment in the Budapest-Belgrade railway

The Hungarian government will investigate the purchase of respirators during the coronavirus pandemic, but will also review the investment in the Budapest-Belgrade railway, announced the country's Prime Minister Peter Magyar, reports N1.

"The government made many extremely important decisions at yesterday's meeting," he announced.

As he stated in a Facebook post, the Hungarian government has decided to immediately investigate the case of respirators purchased for hundreds of billions during the coronavirus pandemic.

“The government will abolish the current teacher evaluation system. We will review the investment in the Budapest-Belgrade railway. Next week we will submit the legislative package necessary to bring 6.000 billion forints of EU funds back home. We will eliminate visual pollution of the environment,” the Hungarian states.

He adds that the Hungarian government will significantly tighten regulations on posters that can be displayed in public places and buildings.

“We will review the rules on party financing. We will review the regulations on the import of foreign guest workers from third countries. We have ordered an immediate ban in certain areas. We will review the work of the National Chamber of Agriculture. We will review the waste management concession, declare a moratorium on deforestation in protected areas and transform the licensing of investments in the battery industry,” said the Hungarian.
