Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced today that Russia had again targeted the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, causing a fire in one of its parts.
Zelensky announced on X that a drone had hit one of the buildings at the Central Spent Fuel Storage Facility.
"Extremely critical infrastructure and an extremely evil Russian attack," he said.
The radiation level still, according to Zelensky, does not exceed normal limits.
Zelensky added that rescuers extinguished a fire that broke out at the power plant after the attack.
He also reported Russian attacks in 13 Ukrainian regions, some of which reportedly targeted civilian targets.
