The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced today that it had “successfully attacked the Tamanjeftogas oil and gas terminal” at the southern end of the Kerch Strait in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.
It was a joint operation between special forces and the Ukrainian military intelligence service.
"SBU drones hit five oil product tanks, as well as two petrol pumps at the terminal. Fires also broke out in the truck parking lot and the infrastructure of the Tamanjeftogas warehouse. Russian air defense positions protecting the facility were also hit," the SBU said on Telegram.
The governor of Russia's Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, also announced on Telegram that "last night Ukrainian drones attacked the Temryuk district. After parts of the drone fell, a fire broke out at the maritime terminal. Unfortunately, one person died."
