Russia launched missile strikes on Kiev and Odessa overnight, local authorities in Ukraine said, adding that several people were injured.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on social media that the attacks had caused fires in two city neighborhoods and that two people had been injured.
"The enemy is attacking Kiev with ballistic missiles. Stay in shelters," Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
Ten people were injured in a rocket attack on the port of Odessa, regional governor Oleg Kiper said.
These attacks occurred while a NATO leaders' summit was underway in Ankara, to which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had been invited.
