Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that Russia is increasingly using ballistic missiles for attacks and called on government officials to begin talks on implementing already agreed aid programs.
Zelensky said on social media that he had called on the Foreign Ministry and other government officials to quickly begin talks with Ukrainian partners to ensure the implementation of already agreed aid programs, following Russian attacks on Kiev overnight.
"It is important to accelerate all processes, both with our European partners and with the United States," he added.
The Ukrainian president stressed that Russia had carried out one of the largest attacks on Kiev to date last night, using ballistic missiles.
Zelensky added that the Russians had been preparing this attack for several days and had been stockpiling missiles.
"Russia is increasingly using ballistic missiles and it is because of them that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin still believes in this war," the Ukrainian president added.
