Turkey has dismissed 4.464 civil servants, more than half of them from the Ministry of Education, according to a decree published yesterday.
This continued the purge among state officials after the coup attempt last July.
Turkey has dismissed or suspended more than 125.000 officials since the failed coup, and around 40.000 members of the military, police and other sectors have been formally arrested, Reuters reported.
