Iran should not threaten Israel, because by doing so it puts itself in danger, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on the occasion of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's statement that Israel will not exist in 25 years.
"Don't threaten us, we're not a rabbit, we're a tiger. If you threaten us, you're putting yourself in danger," Netanyahu said during a visit to Kazakhstan after the country's president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, asked him if he wanted to send a message to Iran's president, Hassan Rouhani, who is coming to visit Kazakhstan next Sunday, reports the "Jerusalem Post" newspaper.
Netanyahu added that Israel, if Iran changes its policy and attitude towards that country, Israel will also change theirs.
When asked by Nazarbayev if he really believes that Iran really means it when it says that it wants to "destroy Israel", Netanyahu answered - "Yes, I believe".
Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said earlier today that Israel will not exist in 25 years, and that the "liberation of Palestine" remains the main issue facing Muslims, despite the numerous conflicts currently destabilizing the Middle East.
