Australian police seized 1,2 tons of ecstasy today in the biggest drug seizure of the year, with two Polish nationals arrested and charged.
The police estimated the street value of the confiscated drugs at 110 million US dollars, AFP reported.
The arrested men, aged 28 and 29, are accused of hiding the drugs in a load of aluminum sheets imported from the Czech Republic.
The drugs, based on a tip, were found in a warehouse in Sydney.
