Another disturbing video of an injured child in Syria has been published on social networks - this time it's a girl called Aja, who was pulled out from under the ruins of a house after the bombing of a city in the northwest of the country, CNN reported today.
The video and photos were published by the activists of the "Talbiseh Media Center" group, which supports the Syrian opposition.
The eight-year-old girl was filmed in the hospital, and the video shows that she has wounds on her face and that her head and body are covered in dust.
Visibly confused and scared, the girl said her name was Aja and persistently called her father.
She was pulled from the rubble on Monday with other family members after airstrikes on Talbiseh in northwestern Syria.
Tak city is located about 10 kilometers north of Homs.
Aja said the roof collapsed on them.
Her parents and three more of their children were also wounded in the attack.
Aja, who is the oldest of four children, is now back with her family, activists said.
