During a night cruise on a lake in the city of Hangzhou organized by summit hosts to give G20 leaders a break, an unusual situation occurred when a fish jumped into one of the boats, shocking officials and almost ending up in the water for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
Namely, the Renzis, British Prime Minister Theresa May who was chatting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Australian colleague Malcolm Turnbull were enjoying themselves in one of the boats, when a bigger fish jumped out of the water right between them.
What followed was a commotion of the leaders who, startled, tried not to wet their evening suits.
Renzi kicked the fish and staggered backwards, according to British media.
The event almost caused a diplomatic incident, but Renzi managed to stay on his feet, writes "Independent".
