Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry today discussed the need for better coordination in order to maintain a ceasefire in Syria, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Lavrov and Kerry confirmed in a telephone conversation that the US Secretary of State will travel to Russia next week, the ministry announced, reports Reuters.
The Kremlin confirmed earlier today that they are satisfied with the way the United States cooperated with Russia in establishing peace solutions in Syria.
"Now the most important thing is that we cooperate in efforts to implement peace solutions for Syria," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
