A group of US Secret Service agents briefly formed a protective ring around Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at his rally in Ohio today, but soon left the stage to allow him to continue his speech.
It is not yet known why the agents rushed to the stage where Trump was, who appeared shaken after hearing something in the audience behind his right shoulder, according to the AP agency.
Unofficially, one of the demonstrators, who disagrees with the political views of the Republican candidate for the US president, tried to jump over the fence and reach Trump.
"Thanks for the warning, I was ready for them, but it's much better for the cops to do it, don't you agree," Trump said, without explaining what happened.
Trump finished his speech without incident.
Businessman and billionaire Donald Trump canceled a rally in Chicago at the last minute on Friday, fearing that protests over his rally could turn into conflicts.
