South Carolina: Death penalty to be sought for Dylann Roof

The US state of South Carolina will seek the death penalty for Dylann Roof, who is suspected of killing nine African-Americans in a church in the city of Charleston in June of this year, according to Reuters citing court documents.

Ruff (21) allegedly killed nine people with a gun his father gave him in April, when he was celebrating his 21st birthday, in a church in Charleston where African-Americans gather.

Ruf faces a hate crime charge, which Reuters reports increases the possibility of him receiving the death penalty.
