Several people were arrested after the terrorist attack in the Tunisian resort of Sousse, where 38 people, mostly foreign tourists, were killed on the beach last Sunday, the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior announced.
Interior Minister Muhammed Najem Garsali said that all those arrested are Tunisian citizens and that the investigation is still ongoing. Garsali did not specify the number of those arrested.
A gunman linked to Islamic State jihadists killed 38 tourists, including 15 British nationals, on a beach in Tunisia on Friday.
The attack in Tunisia, the worst in the recent history of the country, was carried out three months after the bloody attack on the National Museum in the capital, Tunis, where 22 people were killed.
