Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been ordered not to mention topics that could threaten Ecuador's diplomatic interests, the Ecuadorian website Kodigo vidrio has learned.
Kodigo vidrio published a nine-page memorandum stating that Julian Assange is prohibited from interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, AP reports.
In the published document, Assange was also ordered to take care of the cleanliness of the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he has been for six years, and threatened that his cat would be taken from him if he did not take care of it.
The AP agency notes that they were unable to immediately establish the authenticity of the document, but they remind that the site has so far published authentic insider documents of the embassy in London.
Ecuador's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Assange did not respond to the agency's request for comment, writes Tanjug.
