Four people have died after being "swallowed" by a huge sinkhole in China.
The hole opened in the city district of Dazhou City, Sichuan Province on October 7.
Images posted online, as well as some taken from a CCTV camera in a nearby shop, show the moment of the accident.
The video shows the moment people fall into the ground after a three-meter-wide hole opens in it.
In another video, two firefighters are seen fighting for their lives.
According to Yahoo 7, the first victim was found just after midnight on Monday, exactly ten hours after the accident happened. The second victim was found nine hours later.
The rescuers found the first victim six and a half meters underground, and the diggers went to a depth of eight meters.
CNN identified the remaining two victims as a father and his XNUMX-year-old son.
They were found on Tuesday afternoon after a two-day search by a rescue team.
"The biggest difficulty is that the road surface is thin, with a lot of dirt," Gao Ming, an official at the fire station, told China Central Television.
Authorities said electrical wires and gas pipes slowed their efforts to rescue the victims.
"When we arrived, the hole was not that big, two meters wide and deep. But, during the rescue, it continued to collapse another two meters. Firefighters had to stop the rescue operation and evacuate," said Ming.
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
